Amita Thapa Magar Amita works in the Clean Air Unit and is responsible for developing and implementing air quality and transport related programs. Her experience of working with CAI-Asia in the Philippines as a FK fellow has added valuable side to her work. A founder member of NYCA, she has been actively engaged on air quality, climate change and environmental issues over the years. She is a member of US Embassy Youth Advisory Council and was honored as International Climate Champion 2009, as part of which she developed a Climate Change Training Manual. Anjila Manandhar Anjila has been working with Clean Energy Nepal (CEN) since 2007 and currently involved as Network Coordinator in Clean Air Network Nepal (CANN). She also worked at the “Organic Village” under Small Grant Programme, GEF, UNDP. She has developed and managed a number of programs related to air quality, energy and climate change. She has been engaged on research, awareness and advocacy for clean air in Nepal. She conducted an indoor and outdoor air monitoring study in Kathmandu with technical assistance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University under a Fredskorpset Exchange Program, resulting in a good report and a conference paper. She has Masters Degree in Environmental Management. |

Dipesh Chapagain Dipesh started his involvement in CEN since 2007 as a City Volunteer and currently serving as the Program Coordinator - Climate Change and Energy Unit. He is the founder members of Nepalese Youth for Climate Action. Dipesh was selected as the SCALCR fellow by Bangladesh Centre for Advance Studies to participate in the COP17 of UNFCCC. He was also awarded with “applied research grant on climate change adaptation in Nepal” by NAPA Project – Ministry of Environment and “NDRI Research Paper Award”. Dipesh holds the Masters degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. Krity Shrestha Krity Shrestha has been involved with CEN since 2008 as a city volunteer and with NYCA since 2007. She has worked in various capacities in the organization in the organization and is now as a Project Officer for Clean Air. She is and she is now responsible to design and implement projects and campaigns related to Air Quality Management and Clean Air News. Prashanta Khanal Prashanta KhanalPrashanta Khanal has been involved with Clean Energy Nepal since 2008, currently working as Advocacy and Campaigns Officer in Clean Air Unit- CEN and Clean Air Network Nepal. He has been actively working on climate change, air quality management and sustainable urban transportation issues. He is also co-founder of Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA) and has been involved with various campaigns, capacity buildings/trainings and research projects. He has written and published policy briefs, manuals, reports and also involved with preparing newsletters for CEN and CANN. He has worked as Research Assistant for Komite Penghapusan Bensin Bertimble (KPBB) as Fredskorpset Exchange Fellow and student of Master degree in Environmental Management. Rajan Thapa Rajan joined CEN as a Climate Change Volunteer in 2009. Since 2011 he is coordinating Youth and Volunteer Program at CEN that includes City Environment Volunteer and school/college programs. Rajan is a young environment activist and a brand "Environment Ambassador" of Patan Multiple Campus for 2009. He has a good leadership skill and has been playing key role to bridge youth of urban to rural community. Rajan is also a Network Coordinator for Nepalese Youth for Climate Action. Sunil Acharaya Sunil has been working with Clean Energy Nepal (CEN) in various capacities, and currently holds the position of Research and Policy Officer on Energy and Climate Change Unit. He has been involved in various research projects on Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Planning in Nepal. Sunil has written, edited and translated a number of newsletters, policy papers, briefing papers and training manuals for Climate Change Awareness and Advocacy. Furthermore, he has conducted trainings for District Stakeholders, Teachers and Youth on Climate Change and building campaigns.
