Green youth networks - Creating Green Force

There are several colleges in Kathmandu , which offer Environments science or related programs to students. We noticed that there is room for improvement in the following areas:

• Knowledge on latest environmental issues, especially those relevant to Nepal and Kathmandu ;

Hands on exposure to environmental technologies;

• Practical research work;

• Forum for discussion and interaction among the students and professionals;

• Communication skills, including writing, organizing thoughts /ideas and public speaking.

CEN works closely with college students to motivate each one of them to become knowledgeable and active environmentalists not just environmental scientist. In this process, more specifically CEN conducts the following activities:

Assist students in forming groups and plan and organize various activities

CEN can assist in group formation, planning mobilizing resources and organizing activities. CEN will provide the necessary guidance to the group and coordinate among the groups from various colleges.
